Angel Investor:
Individuals who invest in startups in exchange for equity or convertible debt, typically at early stages.
Cap Table (Capitalization Table):
A document outlining ownership structure, including equity held by founders, investors, and employees.
Convertible Debt:
A type of loan that converts into equity under certain conditions, often used in early-stage financing.
Convertible Note:
A short-term debt that converts into equity upon a future financing round.
Due Diligence:
An investigation or audit of a potential investment to confirm facts, financials, and legalities.
Equity Stake:
Ownership interest in a company, typically offered to investors, founders, or employees.
Funding Round:
A stage of fundraising in which a startup raises capital (e.g., Seed, Series A, Series B).
Lead Investor:

Pitch Deck:

Post-Money Valuation:

Pre-Money Valuation:

Seed Funding:
Initial capital raised to develop a prototype, test product-market fit, and assemble a founding team.
Term Sheet:
A non-binding document that outlines the terms and conditions under which an investment will be made.
