Empowering Engineers: Training on Siemens NX for Advanced Product Development

SSN Incubation Foundation in association with TANSAM organized 7-DAY TRAINING ON NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT USING NX during 06.08.2024 to 13.08.2024 at the Centre of Excellence-Industry4.0, CSE Department. This training was coordinated by Dr.R.Seyezhai, P/EEE and Mr.J.Dheepan, SSNiFound. This program was facilitated by Mr.S.Vinoth from TANSAM, who brought his vast experience to guide the participants in the latest intricacies of product design and modern development. The following members attended the training: Dr.G.Satheeshkumar, ASSP/Mech Mr. Arunkumar, Research scholar) Mr. Blessing samraj (Research scholar), Shruthi Premraj and Naren K(Final Year Mech).

Program Highlights:
Advanced Modelling Techniques: Students learned the most advanced modelling methods and became experts in those techniques, greatly enhancing their design capabilities.
Simulation and Optimization: Training in the field of validation and design optimization provided first-hand experience, preparing the students for real-world challenges.
In-depth Learning: Under the guidance of Mr. S. Vinoth, participants gained deep insights into recent tools and techniques used in product development.

The Impact of Siemens NX in the Modelling Era:
Siemens NX introduced a new order in modelling, enabling powerful and versatile leading-edge technologies that integrate design, engineering, and manufacturing in one.
Seamless workflow. During the training, participants explored how NX’s advanced modelling
Capabilities offer great efficiency in creating intricate designs, conducting efficient simulations, and performing robust optimizations—all within a single environment. This software has become the cornerstone of the modelling age, allowing engineers and designers to explore the limits of possibility in product development.

Program Outcomes:

In just one week, participants gained substantial knowledge of NX software and its application in product design, simulation, and optimization. This deep understanding not only equips them to tackle complex design issues but also empowers them to innovate and push the boundaries of modern product development. Participants were highly satisfied with the program, expressing appreciation for the content, delivery, and practical exercises. This session, organized by Mr. S. Vinoth, plays a crucial role in fostering a technically trained work force capable of leading the evolving product development process.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Dr. K.S.Vijay Sekar, Professor and Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department, for his invaluable support and for facilitating the submission of nominations, ensuring the smooth execution of the event. The participants conveyed their appreciation to SSNiFound for sponsoring their registration fees.
