- The CSE Department team led by Dr. T.T. Mrinalinee (HOD), Dr. R. Kanchana, and Dr. P. Mirunalini, has been awarded a project titled “Mobile APP for Estimation of Vitals” by Chandvel Technologies, Chennai.
- Similarly, the IT Department team led by Dr. R. Srinivasan, Dr. S. Karthika, and Dr. J.K. Josephine Julina secured a project on “Artificial Intelligence Based Identification of Non-Metals from Ornaments” from SSS Tech, Chennai.
- In another development, Dr. R. Ramaprabha and Dr. R. Seyezhai from the EEE Department submitted a proposal to L&T Digital Energy Solutions on “AI Enhanced Fault Detection for PV Power Plants”.
- The IT Department, under the leadership of Dr. Shahina (HOD), submitted two proposals to Value Ingredients, Chennai. These proposals focus on “Automated AI systems for calyx removal” and “Real-time Monitoring of Air Pressure in the Destoning Process for Chilli Flakes”.
- A collaborative effort led by Dr. Satheesh Kumar Gopal (Mechanical Engineering) has submitted a proposal to Value Ingredients, Chennai for “Technology Development for In Situ Monitoring and Control of Pungency”. The team comprises Dr. M. Suresh and Dr. Vijayan Sundaravel from Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Julie Charles from Physics, and Dr. N. Priyadarshini from Chemistry.
- Finally, Dr Sathish Kumar (HOD), Dr. R. Anantharaj and Dr. D. Gnana Prakash from the Chemical Department proposed a “Green Process for Separation of Caffeine and Chlorogenic Acids” to Omni Active Hosur.
